2022-2023 SUPPLY LIST
SnackPlease make sure to pack a healthy snack for your kindergarten student everyday! Our classroom is nut-free. Please click for a list of foods: (safe foods). We love to have extra snacks from the safe food list for children who forget. If you'd like to donate that would be appreciated. When packing snacks with your students, be mindful that it should not be a full meal and that if utensils are required they should be provided. Often, we have a "working" snack time so children should be able to independently participate in snack time.

Birthdays We LOVE our birthdays! Please consider a non-food celebration for your child. We suggest: a book donation, classroom game, playground fun, music or art. If you want to send in a snack, it must be on the safe food's list. Please make sure to arrange this special event with me at least one week prior to your child's birthday. If your child has a summer birthday, they are welcome to celebrate their half birthday or their "un-birthday". If you plan to have a birthday celebration outside of school please note, invitations can be sent home with students if all children in our class are invited. If not, please refer to the school directory for addresses listed, I am unable to provide you with this info.

Homework
Your child will bring home Just Right Reading books to read and log at home. They may also have a math page which will be assigned in their math book, which is sent home at the beginning of every module.

FoldersA folder should come with your child to school each day and come home everyday.. It will allow me to get information from you quickly. Homework (if a handout) will be placed in the folder. Please check it every night! It saves me a lot of time if completed papers are taken out and you review what needs to be handed in with your child. It starts preparing their organization skills and helps our routine go faster. I will give out a folder at the beginning of the year if it does not match your child's style or gets to much wear and tear please feel free to replace it!

dismissalYour child's regular schedule should be noted ASAP on a form given in their welcome packet. I will help students get to where they need to be. If plans change, a note should be sent in with your child. Please do not rely on e mailing me dismissal changes as I can not guarantee that I will see it prior to dismissal time.
